The Good Data Institute is a volunteer organisation that aims to give not-for-profits access to
data analytics support and tools. The platform connects data professionals to mission-driven
organisations to create impact through data. GDI works with organisations at all stages of their
data journey, from developing strategies on how to capture data, to visualisation and informing
strategies. Since it's inception, GDI has worked with not-for-profits within Australia and globally to help them understand their donors and beneficiaries. Through the creation of dashboards, GDI has been able to uncover information that the organisations had not seen before.
Their insights inform fundraising strategy, program reporting, and resource allocation.
