My name is Nisrina Nadhifah Rahman (but you can call me Ninies). I'm 17th years old-a last-year homeschooling student from Indonesia. I've been selected to be the one of participant in the Global Youth Summit 2010 and then became a peer-facilitator in the Global Youth Summit 2011. I also finished my Global Action Project titled "Women Empowerment Walk Across the Borders" together with my GCM 2010 Women & Girls' Rights working-group members. I did the training-series of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights for vulnerable youth in one of high-rate-prostitution & trafficking-area in Indonesia, called Indramayu as well as doing research and documentary filming in three different cities during 2011. Together with the other 11 youth-writers, I've released the book talks about Youth and Sexuality titled "Say Hello to Our Body" with two languages (English and Bahasa Indonesia) by February 2012 - supported by Women Journal Foundation Indonesia. I'm working for Human Rights, particularly Gender Equality & Sexuality & Reproductive Health & Rights since 3-4 years ago, started from my involvement in Change Magazine-Women Journal Foundation Indonesia as writer, researcher, and program officer for many programs regarding Youth, Human Rights, Gender, and Sexuality.
In May 2012, I've been selected to join the 1st Global UNiTE Youth Forum to END Violence Against Women and Girls in Bangkok, Thailand as a delegate and also a youth reporter. The forum was resulted the Global Declaration/Statements regarding youth's participation in the effort to end violence against women and girls. I also being engaged as a Youth-Adviser in the Youth Advisory Panel UNFPA Indonesia since 2011 to 2013. Now-with another GCMs in Indonesia, I'm running for a project titled Youth Rights Festival a youth-initiated project under British Council Global Changemakers and in partnership with The Commission for the Disappeared and Victims of Violence (KontraS).
