Valeria lives in El Salvador is about to graduate from high school. After she graduates, she wants to pursue a career in Psychology. Valeria volunteers her time at the John Paul II Community Center, where they offer an educational and social alternative for children in extreme poverty, to stop them from joining gangs in El Salvador. She has worked with Rotary Club International and volunteered her time in numerous NGOs that work for children´s education and social development. She believes that education is the key to reduce delinquency in her country, and although she is still in school, she seeks for opportunities where she can contribute with her time and skills. After the summit, she wants to spread her knowledge and skills to others, so she can a make a team of young people who want to make a change for El Salvador´s future.
