The Footpath School

The Footpath School was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to transform the lives of underprivileged children who are too often overlooked by society. Born out of the aftermath of communal violence and injustice, our school stands as a space of hope, resilience, and opportunity for children living on the margins.

We provide free education, mentorship, and emotional support to children who have faced poverty, displacement, and trauma. Our classrooms are not bound by walls—they are built on compassion, equality, and the belief that every child deserves a chance to dream and thrive. Beyond academics, we instill values of justice, empathy, and religious harmony, empowering students to become future leaders who challenge societal barriers and fight for a more inclusive world.

The Footpath School also focuses on critical issues that affect vulnerable children, from sanitation and nutrition to protection from abuse and exploitation. With a team of dedicated volunteers, we work to ensure that every child receives not only education but also access to healthcare, safety, and pathways to higher opportunities. 

Our mission is simple: to turn the very footpaths where children once struggled to survive into stepping stones toward dignity, equality, and a brighter future.
