Nevin's biggest concerns are human rights and equal opportunities. Her voluntary work began in 2016 when she went to Greece and worked in two refugee camps. She works for a local group of the organisation “Solinetz”, which organizes events and German lessons for refugees. She is also part of the association "Palestine's children", which supports children through funding aid projects or sponsorships for pupils. Besides the voluntary work she is active in university politics and a member of the cantonal board of the Young Socialists Zurich.
