Mutabi- Zambia

Mutabi recently lived in a village with people with strong traditions, ones that placed both boys and girls in separate boxes, girls' boxes sadly being much smaller. Nonetheless they were still boxes, whose walls were made of poverty, child marriage, gender discrimination and culture. She helped them break through these walls they had built through talking to traditional leaders in the village, teaching girls to make reusable sanitary towels and mentoring boys and holding meetings with traditional marriage rights teachers. Post-summit she wishes to start an NGO and incorporate a book into the Zambian syllabus.
