Jill Skonieczka - United States of America

Jillian “Jill” Skonieczka is a 21-year-old refugee resettlement advocate from Erie, Pennsylvania, USA. Her major is international studies with a concentration on global inequality and development and a regional focus in South and Central Asia. Jill is the founder and president of the Migration Network, an academic clearinghouse designed to increase public knowledge of migration as a fact of life. She currently works at Human Rights Watch in Washington, D.C. and interns at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants in Arlington, Virginia.
