The Upstander Empowerment Project is an initiative aimed at transforming bystander behavior into proactive upstander action within our school community. An upstander is someone who recognizes when something is wrong and takes steps to make it right, standing against bullying, discrimination, and injustice. Our project focuses on educating students about the importance of confronting injustice and supporting those who are targeted for harm. Through a series of interactive workshops, role-playing scenarios, and awareness campaigns, we aim to equip students with the necessary skills and confidence to act as upstanders.

These activities are designed to promote empathy, responsibility, and a sense of community among students. In collaboration with educators, parents, and community members, the Upstander Empowerment Project strives to create a safe and inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and empowered. By fostering a culture of active support and intervention, we aim to reduce instances of bullying and discrimination, ensuring that all students can thrive both academically and socially. This initiative aligns with our commitment to nurturing compassionate, courageous relationships and honoring the interconnection of all beings within our school community.
