Darcy Small - Australia

Darcy loves learning and seeing big ideas in action. His childhood, spent exploring the natural surrounds of his rural home town, inspired him to pursue a career focused on climate action. Recently graduating from UNSW with a Solar Energy Engineering degree, an exciting field both environmentally and in its potential to drive sustainable development, Darcy has a keen interest in social entrepreneurship. Building on fieldwork experience in Uganda, Darcy co-founded Bugisu Project. Winning Australia's Global Student Entrepreneur Award and Big Idea competition for the use of Ugandan coffee as a vehicle to engage Australian businesses with the circular economy, he hopes to spark a shift towards a future that's better for people and the planet.
