Sophia Molano

Sophia Molano, a 24-year-old activist, is deeply committed to environmental issues and the protection of children's, adolescents', and youth rights in her community. Originally from Popayán, Colombia, she is pursuing a degree in biology at the University of Cauca. Currently, she is leading the establishment of a climate solutions laboratory in collaboration with young people from her community, aiming to tackle local environmental challenges. Sophia seeks to connect with leaders across Latin America to enhance collaboration in addressing the multiple crises facing society today, recognizing that the climate crisis impacts all areas of life.
