Kasha is a filmmaker/photographer/writer, and passionate advocate for gender equality and peace. She has worked full-time on her positive impact media organization, The Global Sunrise Project. Her feature documentary, The Sunrise Storyteller, has screened at 58 film festivals and won 28 awards, including the Ron Kovic Peace Prize and Women Transforming Media Award. She uses her storytelling platform to conduct educational outreach, screenings and workshops for young people and helps empower students to become civically engaged by using their unique talents and skills to make a positive impact in their local or global community.
