Diana is a first-generation Chinese-American immigrant from the USA. She is the Founder of Letters to Strangers, a global youth-run mental health nonprofit that has impacted over 30,000 people on six continents and been recognized by Unilever, Adobe, Viacom, and more. A Vogue Italia-published photographer, Diana seeks to integrate socioculturally literate art into mental wellness for youth. Her “Minority Mental Health Month” self-portrait series went viral with 2+ million engagements, and her TEDxTeen speech at Times Square has been viewed 55K times. She is studying climate science and policy and envisions a day when mental health is as important as physical health.
