Dakalo Makungo

Dakalo is a 24-year-old man from Olifantsfontein, a small town in Gauteng, South Africa. In 2020, he began his studies at the Tshwane University of Technology, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health. Throughout his academic journey, he received multiple awards for academic excellence, culminating in his graduation in 2023. In 2024, he commenced his community service as an Environmental Health Practitioner in the North West province. Dakalo is dedicated to promoting health and well-being by empowering the community and enhancing their resilience against natural risks. Looking ahead, he aims to intensify his efforts in finding sustainable solutions for providing suitable water receptacles and disinfectants to his community.
