Beatriz - Costa Rica

Beatriz's area of activism, the visual well-being of children, is framed within her project: Stop Lazy, A fight against amblyopia, where she has provided support for parents, carried out research and disclosed information about the disease. Her goal is to organize visual health campaigns with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and offering visual therapies and the necessary means to facilitate children’s learning and development. As a Global Changemaker, she wants to make difference and to have a positive impact on visual health of the population.
