Economy, WEF Davos 2009
In spite of a massive lack of sleep on the part of the Changemakers in Davos (not to mention the project staff here with them), the six are once again busy engaging with the political and economical leaders at the WEF. Whether this means early morning meetings with Prime Ministers, a session at the local middle school (in its way possibly more exciting than photo ops with Al Gore or Tony Blair), or sitting in the audience during the BBC World Debate - a heated discussion about the current financial crisis - where several of the big names said that we shouldn't blame individuals or companies but the system. (Makes you wonder whether, when the crisis is over and banks and corporations are again making money, they'll say, "Oh, it's not us who have made millions for our shareholders. It's the system!")
Stay tuned - we'll try to post some photos if we find some time. No guarantees, but we'll do our best!
