Changemakers in Their Own Words

How many events have you been to where the first question you're asked is: Sooo what do you do?
You get your badge proudly showcasing your title and your organisation. And as you navigate through the crowds, you're ready to share your polished elevator pitch.
There is only one problem: those conversations often stay surface-level, defined by the flashiness of your titles and rehearsed introductions. Well, at the GYS, we flipped the script. It was raw, real, and refreshingly authentic. We created a safe space for:
• stories of doubt and failure,
• the realities of leading an NGO/business,
• how hard it is to be a young person in the impact space.
What an amazing week!
