María Fernanda Duarte

María hails from a semi-rural village in the State of Mexico known as Malinalco. At 22 years old, she has engaged in various artistic activities, including puppet creation, woodworking workshops, bone carving, and the production of artisanal bread. In the realm of activism, she has participated in reforestation campaigns, environmental clean-up initiatives, and has contributed to conferences and discussions on topics such as economics, sexual health, gender equity, sexual abuse, violence prevention, and environmental conservation. After attending the summit and acquiring the necessary tools and experience, she aspires to assist her community, becoming an agent of change and an inspiration to others.
