Leona Repnik - Austria/Switzerland

As a 22 year old Austrian and German national, Leona grew up in eight countries on

three continents. After completing her Bachelors in Natural Sciences in England, she spent a year working in Switzerland at the Swiss Ornithological Institute and then at The Forest Trust. She is currently a Masters student in Environmental Sciences and Engineering at EPFL in Lausanne and an environmental activist. Two years ago she started campaigning against single-use plastics, adopting a plastic-free lifestyle. She joined environmental associations at her universities and is a Greenpeace volunteer, as well as an ambassador for the local Jura Natural Park. Following the summit she hopes to continue and expand her activism to reach even more people!
