Aletse is a 24-year-old mother from Guatemala. She became a menstrual educator after recognizing the taboo surrounding menstruation that she aims to dispel. In addition to her role as a menstrual educator, she is also a doula and lactation consultant. For the past five years, Aletse has been dedicated to menstrual education and promoting sustainable menstruation practices. She has assisted over 10,000 women in achieving a more comfortable and environmentally conscious menstruation experience through the use of alternative products such as menstrual cups and discs. Following the Summit, Aletse plans to expand her menstrual-focused company to other countries and create educational content related to menstruation, pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding, making it more friendly and accessible for a wider audience.
