Young people in the spotlight!
This weekend saw one of the biggest climate marches take place in London, with over 55,000 people in attendance and taking part, as you can imagine the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing with Ed Miliband coming out in the rain to join ‘The Wave’ as well as Deputy PM and Business Secretary Lord Mandelson.
As always young people were there in high turnout, from the UK Youth Climate Coalition, to the National Union of Students and of course the British Youth Council. Which is all rather understanding, considering what happens over the next two weeks in Copenhagen is going to effect our generation, but as always young people managed to leave their stamp on the minds of senior politicians including the Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Take time to watch this youth question debate facilitated by the great UKYCC!
