UN Week Digital Media Lounge: find out more!

As the world’s leaders convene in New York this September, the UN Foundation is partnering with Mashable, a leaderin social and digital media, to bring you the UN Week Digital Media Lounge. The Digital Lounge offers a dedicated venue that is completely wired and accessible to today’s top on-line voices and up-and-coming bloggers. This is the space any and all voices to be heard – including UN officials, US Government officials, thought leaders, and traditionally underreprsented voices from the online community – including youth advocates.
From 21-24 September 2010, this venue will be a place for bloggers to have exclusive in-person access to experts on issues like poverty, hunger, HIV/AIDS, women’s health, and climate change, with Skype interview facilities bringing in government and UN officials live from the UN. You will have the opportunity to have direct access, share your work around the MDGs with other non-profit leaders and network with eJournalists and media outlets – all in a relaxed, interactive and fun atmosphere.
If you are interested in participating, please click here to read more: http://bit.ly/MASHABLE-UN and then click here to apply: http://mash.to/2hRQL. The world’s leaders are gathering in one of the world’s biggest cities to address the world’s biggest issues – make sure your voice is heard.
