Traveller’s blog no 17 - Lucia

Far far there’s this little girl…
she was praying for something big to happen to her…

Actually, she is not a little girl and
she wasn´t praying. She came home from school and checked her e-mails as usual
. There was a completely new experience waiting for her.

Before an amazing week in Guildford, she
thought she was the only person who cared about the future of our world. Then
she got the opportunity to see 59 diffrenet ways of being active, 59 ways of
achieving her goals. Honestly, that was the best week she has ever had.

She could finally talk about the situation in
Iraq, Kosovo, Brazil…  with someone who
lives there…She made you realize that Slovakia and Slovenia are two different
countries
J

Despite living in the middle of nowhere, in
a country that nobody knows, she knows that there is always someone to talk
to….When she had to leave, someone told her:
This is not the end, this is the beginning…

Now, she knows she is not the only „weird“
person in this world
J

Far far there´s this little girl…

She is praying for something BIGGER to happen
to her..

In two weeks, I am travelling to
Strasbourg due to some work in the European Parliament committee. I am
really excited and I
 hope
those
"EU
people
" will realize how strong the young ones!!!  As you know, dance is my biggest passion, but
now, I am absolutely tired because of everyday´s  practice for the National championship in
June.

The best thing is that after the Guildford
week I met Lukáš who took part at the Greenwich Forum 2007 (we are almost
from the same town!!!).  We are going to
organize a similar event for young people in Slovakia.

I hope you are all doing good and you
didn´t lose your power!

Love
and Peace,

Lucia
