Team Tuesday (23/3/2010)

I’m afraid this’ll be a relatively short Team Tuesday, and one without a silly photo showing how hard we’re at work. No decapitated chocolate bunnies, no red-faced Swedes showing off their acrobatic skills. I’m away from the office this week and everyone’s pretty busy finalising this, that and the other.

Still, there are a couple of things to mention:

  • It’s almost the end of the British Council financial year, which means we have to complete our Scorecard – that’s where we enter audience numbers, media mentions and the like. We’ve got some fairly nice numbers for 2009/10… such as over 700,000,000 media mentions. That’s 700 million. How’s that for media attention?
  • Talking of which, Katherine’s preparing an update on some recent Changemaker attention in the media. Keep checking this spot for an update!
  • Gaby, who should be heading for Harare for an event training existing and new Global Changemakers, has finally received her visa. Has her passport been returned to her, though? I’m afraid I’m drawing a blank on that. Will she make it to Harare? Keep your fingers crossed and send lots of Changemaker vibes in the direction of Bern, Switzerland!
  • Finally, I’m afraid I didn’t receive any questions to the team this week. Still, keep any questions you have coming in – ideally post them in the comments to this blog thread!

Well, that’s it from me for now. I’ll be back at the office next Monday, but I will be checking my Inbox and the website. Cheerio!
