Team Tuesday (17/8/2010)

It’s Tuesday, the team is reduced to four this week, summer’s definetly out of office today and as the newbie on the Bern team it’s my turn to virtually smile anyway – what am I actually still doing here after everyone else has left?! Right, the blog … to be honest: my first one EVER … maybe that’s when talkative people become really quiet??

 

Well, over the last weeks we’ve received lots of applications for the Global Youth Summit 2010 and are now evaluating them, trying to pick the best ones. After watching numerous youtube videos all of our eyes got kind of squared … and I am really impressed by the number of commited young people out there, their ideas and what they actually do … and I’m trying to learn as much as I can about the programme, the people and on where to best hide my crackers so the unknown cracker thief does not find them AGAIN – wait until I catch you!

 

In the last two weeks that I’ve been here, there has not been one day when everyone was in. However – no worries - I’ve met everyone on this wonderful team by now! Today, Fran has left for her sister’s wedding, Gaby is still in Georgia – but don’t think it’s all quiet because of that … we’ve still got Kath, Matt and Zahid left … the rest may be left to your imagination – just this much: imagine a cat, a mouse, an owl and a duckling … wink
