Team Tuesday (13/4/2010)

Hi there,

Once again most of the team is away from the Bern office – most people are on their way back from events in Africa and Latin America, but I’m currently on vacation at a lovely, lovely place, until Friday. Not to want to make any of you jealous, but this is where I’m hiding until the end of the week:

And yes, that’s pretty much exactly what it looks like. grin

Gaby, in the meantime, is still in Africa – in Maputo, to be precise – and she’s busy thinking about the WEF Africa. Not a moment of rest for our CAP Woman!

Fran is currently in the UK, namely at the British Council HQ at Spring Gardens, London. Here’s what she writes: “Well, definitely the highlight of my day so far was meeting with Louise & Scott to talk about how they will trap Bill Clinton in the elevator at CGIU to take pictures with Changemakers! smile The other part of the morning consisted of trying to sort out our budget – due to a glitch in our beloved finance system, more than a million pounds sterling has disappeared (temporarily only, we hope!)  Off to Oxford this evening for the Skoll World Forum which starts tomorrow. Hugs to all!”

Finally, I’ve also received a list of questions collated by our own Scott, Changemaker Extraordinaire; unfortunately those questions will have to wait until next week, when I’ve had a chance to run them by the rest of the team so we get the best answers possible. Thanks to Scott, though – we’ll definitely get back to them AsAP!

All the very best from the snowy Swiss mountains,

Matt
