Team Tuesday (25/5/2010)
We just received photographs of Gaby surrounded by African doctors. Big shock, since we did not even know she had been in hospital.
Apparently, Gaby had a blister from running around at the WEF (that, and from wearing way too high heels…) so she went to the medical post in Dar es Salaam to ask for a band aid.
A team of five nurses and doctors jumped up when she entered and started getting out bandages, syringes and even a whole wheel chair for her. And they took her pictures, as you can see.
When she tried to escape, they sat her down, because of her `inured leg`. Just as a reminder: all she had was a blister.
She is now sitting behind her desk recovering from her injury. Latest: she will be contacting the people who will get a Caps grant this week.
Fran is on her way to Brussels for the World Bank event, so in the coming days, blogs and pictures from that event will apear on this website.
