Reminder: Latin America Youth Summit - Call for Applications
This is the weekly reminder that the call for applications for the first Latin America Youth Summit will run until 4 June 2010. Find all the details here.
Please note the following things if you wish to apply:
- The age range for this event is 18 to 24 years. The overall age range for Global Changemakers is 16 to 25, but we work with a smaller range for the different summits – 16 to 19 for the Global Youth Summits, 18 to 24 for the regional youth summits for a number of reasons.
- You need to be registered and logged in on http://www.global-changemakers.net in order to access the applications page. If you don’t have an account or you’re not logged in, you will get a message saying that the page couldn’t be found. Please make sure you’re logged in (the page will show an orange speech bubble in the upper right-hand corner saying something to the effect of “Welcome back, XXX!”) before you send me a mail saying that you can’t access the applications page!
- A complete application consists of both the online application form and the YouTube video! Don’t wait until the last moment with your YouTube video – if you encounter any technical problems on 4 June and cannot submit your video on time, we will not consider your application. Also, if you don’t have the technical equipment to shoot a short video (a simple camera or iPhone is enough) or upload it, ask your friends, colleagues, school or college for help! (Changemakers know to solve problems with the help of their personal and professional networks.)

One Response to Reminder: Latin America Youth Summit - Call for Applications
@Martin: while we do not as a rule recruit new Changemakers aged 25 for our summits, we do sometimes recruit them for high-level events, if we don’t have people with the perfect fit in our network.
