The Coca-Cola Foundation to Award $300,000 in Grants for Active Healthy Living Programs

As part of its commitment to help families be physically active and learn about nutrition, the Coca-Cola Foundation is offering $300,000 in grants to organizations with programs that do just that. The Foundation is seeking proposals for grants to support active, healthy living initiatives focused on family-oriented physical activity and nutrition education programs in California, New York and Texas. The grant awards will range from $10,000 to $25,000 for each organization, totalling $100,000 per state.

What is the International Human Rights Colloquium?

The Colloquium is an annual capacity building and peer-learning event designed for young activists from the Global South (Africa, Asia and Latin America). The objective of the International Human Rights Colloquium is to strengthen the impact of human rights activists work and to offer the opportunity to build new collaborative networks among activists, academics and the Organization of the United Nations (ONU).

Who can apply?

Young human rights defenders from the Global South who demonstrate commitment to the human rights cause as well as at least two-years of professional experience in the area. Given the central theme of the X Colloquium, we encourage activists who have had experience in engaging with regional systems or who wish to broaden their expertise with these mechanisms to apply. Additionally, criteria such as race, gender, and regional/social origin will be taken into consideration during the selection process.
