Go Green Myanmar, Linn’s CAP has planted over 400 trees in Myanmar. Here are some of the experiences as well as images of what Linn’s team has gone through.
Many massive trees and food yielding plants in these 3 areas were greatly affected by Nargis Cyclone. Since then, local people were suffering from hot temperature. So these trees need to be replanted in order to regain the cooling effect.
On top of planting trees, Linn’s team has been carrying out our education project in those areas , which has also alow them to monitor the trees.
Since this was their first time experience on tree planting, they had many difficulties such as preparing and organizing. They visited many tree nurseries and try to find plants which have a good survival rate and invited guest speakers who are experienced in tree planting.
In coming week Linn’s team is planning to 350 plant some trees, which in total make some 750 more trees in Myanmar!
Linn is moving to the U.S., but he’s left a great team back home who will finish up the great work he’s initiated!

Good job, mate. I am also involved in a project called Change-Zim. which uprooted after we, that is my fellow founder members, George Connolly and Kudzani Dube, had seen that most Zimbabweans, only talk about change, but are actually not doing anything to make and be that change. So, we are hoping that, this will help them positively involve in changing the nation, to regain its former glory…
