Global Changemakers - what is different?
Last year we travelled the Road to Davos. How is Global Changemakers different? Has anything changed other than the road signs?
Global Changemakers still brings young activists from around the world to high-profile events – but more than that, the programme commits to the Changemakers by helping them develop so-called Community Action Programmes (or CAPs). These CAPs may be small in scope or large in ambition; they may be run in one village or in several countries.
In the following weeks we will be working on training materials that will help the Changemakers in creating and running their own projects. We are also putting a system in place that will allow Changemakers to submit project proposals. As work on the CAPs begins, expect to hear regular updates on what the Changemakers network is accomplishing!

One Response to Global Changemakers - what is different?
I am so happy that there is now a structure that can assist participants after they leave Guidlford. I have started my Community Action Project in collaboration with Nick and Whitney and Youth End Poverty is really going strong.
