As Mother Theresa put it, “We cannot do great things on this Earth, only small things with great love.”, I take into the belief that no act of kindness is too small. Just that it’s entirely up to us, whether we have the heart to and want to achieve it. The motto of my life is to be happy, and also spread the happiness to the people around me. This includes bringing love and joy to the unfortunate souls, through my role as a volunteer. My past initiatives in volunteering included first aid duties, community visits and events, rice collection projects and blood donation drives. I became a Global Changemaker when I attended the Asia Youth Summit 2011. The works, the stories and the energy of the people I met in the Asia Youth Summit really inspire me. I am proud to be part of the Global Changemakers family. This has opened the door for me to realize my vision- holding a common project championing a particular issue in different countries. “If your mind can conceive it, and your heart can believe it, then you can achieve it.” Believe in your dreams and never stop chasing them.
