An Architect with a difference with vast interest in sustainable environment. A graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria and he is currently pursuing his Master Degree from the same institution where he was appointed by the Vice Chancellor as the coordinator of Campus Ecovanguard Society of Nigerian. A network of youths aimed at building an Eco-friendly environment under the Centre for Climate Change and Freshwater Resources, CCCFR. His outstanding youth leadership roles saw him emerged in 2010 as the president elect of the re-known Republic of DESPLAY Africa, a network of over 3, 000 distinguished young and brightest emerging Africans made up of members from 6 countries of the continent with the passion for democracy, good governance and leadership under the initiative of Youngstars Foundation and NED USA. Where he graduated as a certified young democrat. He was among the 5 nominated young Nigeria democracy Ambassadors on a 2 weeks learning visit to the Republic of Cameroon in comparison of democracy in Africa. Babafemi has executed a wide range of community based and rural capacity building projects enabled by his tremendous partnership ability with individual, youths and organisations of like minds on enterprise development, ethical and corrupt-free business practises. An activity that recently gained recognition of the prestigious World Bank Institute, WBI and He was nominated as one of the only two Nigerian Youths by WBI to participate at the WBI Global Youths Against corruption, GYAC Forum April 2011, in Nairobi Kenya. His distinct anticorruption initiative got him selected as a Global Changemaker by the British Council. In his diplomatic career, He has acquired an exceptional six (6) Model United Nations experiences where he served at the highest ruling body of the secretariat as a director for two years and won the award of the most distinguished director. He is a finalist of the LEAP Africa National Youth Leadership Award in 2010, nominated as a Young Global Change maker and the Top 12 awards by Youngstars Foundation, Nigeria.
