Winter Cycle of Project applications revealed!
We are happy to announce the Winter 2012 grantees for CAPs and GAPs.
On our first ever cycle of applications given out this time of the year; we received twice as many applications as grants available. Once again we were really happy to see how engaged our Changemakers are in their communities and how innovative your ideas for bringing about positive change in those are.
That also means we were not able to support a larger number of project proposals, but do remember you can always apply so long you are 25 or younger and you have participated in one of our events.

Without further ado our list of grantees for CAPs:
- Orient meets Occident
- Sustainable Fashion Initiative
- ICE
- React&change II
- Journey to the Raising Sun
- Ecofiva
- Ripple Effect Auction for Hope
- Expanding the Barriers
- Fighting Constitutional Discrimination in North Carolina
- Deuk
- Gender Empowerment Social Advoacacy Pakistan
- Equait
- ABRIC
- History Project
- Nueva calle
- Centigrade II
- Youth Interfaith Sexuality Forum
- Bakas
As for GAPs, two projects were selected:
- Econnect
- Action Club
In the course of the week I will be contacting the grantees individually to go through the details of processing your grant. Please be responsive.
If you are thinking of implementing a project, registering an existing one or want to try again to get a grant from the Global Changemakers, let me remind you our next cycle of applications will be 1-15 May. Start working on your proposal and use our toolkit to make sure you design a good project.
You can find the guidelines and templates to prepare your application here.
Congratulations to the grantees and happy Changemaking!

Hello everyone,
I am new on global-changemakers and I don’t really understand. Does tthis mean we cannot make any subject proposal for this year ?
Can anyone please explain me how it works ? I subscribed here after making a few researches about youth volunteering.
Thanks
Hi Karine,
There are three annual grants cycles, but they are open for full Changemakers, i.e. people who have taken part in a Global Changemakers summit. Make sure to check out the Grants section (http://www.global-changemakers.net/grants) and feel free to get back to us if you have any questions!
