Fire-Hearts 200

The name stands for 200 young people whose hearts are on fire for their community and their people. The project’s aim is to get 200 young people connected with each other in order to:

  • Inspire them to each launch their own community projects;
  • Build up relationships between similar community programmes;
  • Get a good database of each young activist and being able to follow their activities;
  • Assist them with skills, documents and experiences.

The project will create a network of young people in Namibia and motivate them to start their own projects.

So far, there are 70 members out of the projected 200 working in different projects such as the combat against alcohol abuse among children, orphans, children suffering from cancer, youth newspapers, recycling paper in schools and others.
