Cooper(a)ction: Peace and Law
This project was located in the city of Bari and aimed to create a lively association, the COOPERA(c)TION: PEACE AND LAW. The participating team worked with 40 kids who belonged to poor backgrounds and children who live with nuns because their parents are in prison due to an involvement with the mafia.
For three hours per week, the team gathered in order to organize a show. In this show, the kids performed a play which showed how essential legality is for a normal course of life. Through the project, the kids involved were encouraged to be creative, enjoy themselves, and thus break away from their difficult reality.
This Changemaker is being nominated Young European of the Year.
