Hi everyone,
Here we are in the computer lounge again that the forum choses to call "Knowldege Concierge" because it makes them feel more special than simply saying what it is. Everything seems to have a special name to dress up a common thing, for instance even the theme of the conference is called collaborative innovation- what does that really mean anyway?
As Rhadeena, Nick and I look around we see very few women. As every woman around the world fully knows, there is always (and I mean ALWAYS) a line for the toilet facilities, but here I have not once had to wait. What is the cause of this phenomonom? there are so few women and many, dare I say most, that are here are sposes of powerful suits. Women need to break through the glass ceiling keeping them down. Women are capable and intellectual, and we can do whatever we set our mind to with determination and passion. I hope that next year and continuing to several years on, that the lines in the women's bathrooms will grow longer and longer. I want to wait to go to the bathroom.
In our discussion with Emma Thompson this morning, we discussed the huge amount of frowning, older, unhappy, wealthy men walking around at Davos. There is no joy in their faces, but we truly believe that if they would start to help people and participate in making the world a better place, Davos would find more smiling, sincere people. Hopefully we can help to give these people a cause!
They need to be challenged, and Davos needs women!
We love you all! Your amazing and we draw from your wonderful works and ideas to hopefully radicalize Davos! We are going to do a jig in the middle of the forum- that is just what everyone needs- a little dance and a little joy!
