Guildford 2008, WEF Davos 2008
Greetings from Bern, Switzerland!
Here, we're making sure that things will run smoothly on the Swiss side - getting insurance for the Davos 6, organising train tickets for the trip from Zürich Airport to Davos tomorrow, making shopping lists so the six won't starve on the snowy way through the mountains. (Don't worry, it's not quite as arduous as it sounds...) We had a phone conference with the WEF people this morning, and things seem to be on track. The other members of the "Future Shifts" panel should be quite interesting... but that's all I'm prepared to say at this point!
And here's a little reminder to everyone of last week (click on it to see a larger version):

Hey there
Thanks guys. We are busy at the momement looking at the content of the the discussions that we are having. It looks like my note taking skills are not up to scratch and I will have to ask again.
What are the issues that you feel we need to raise that are unique?( We are looking at the representation of all the regions. The middle east is quite a hot one. Mohamad, Abud etc. )
Missing you all.(Its realy boring without all of you.)

Hi Everyone!!!
Have a beautiful day,
I wanted to say a little something to you so that you know how important you are to me.
You all are such wonderful, inspirational people that I can learn so much from. I am incredibly lucky that I was able to meet every single one of you, and you have all made a special impression on my life. A heartfelt thank you to all of you for sharing your life and views with me.
I will miss you all but this is not the end; it is merely the beginning of our lifelong friendships and support systems. I love you all so much!
Sorry about all of that gushy stuff
Please email Gillion, Rhadeena, Juan, Nick, Yunan and me with all of your ideas for us. We want to represent you as best as we can, so please let us know what you want us to keep in mind during Davos.
We all only have a very short amount of time on the internet so I will have to go now. Have a wonderful night! I will talk to you all soon!

hi everyone!
well its 7am and I’m just about to get some last minute packing done. We’re leaving in an hour and a half for the airport, flying off around half ten for Zurich, then a three hour train ride to davos.
Its weird because on CNN, some reporter did the same journey, waking up early, catching a plane then the same train.
We spent a long day working yesterday. We stayed at the British Council office all day, then as soon as we got back to the hotel, we reaserched in more depth our own passions.
We were sat in Gillions hotel room, all of us, laptop on thighs, pen in mouth and handful of biscuits in the other, working til the early hours, finding little bits of informaion, reports and opinions that could help us. We worked out that in the session, we will get about 5 minutes each to speak throughout the whole thing, not very long!
But we will be spending every last minute of the nex two days making sure them 5 mins are gunna rock the world!! :D

So now you are there - in Davos - in minus eight degrees - in the beautiful mountains - with so much to say and so much to tell people about.
Be yourselves, take a deep breath, look people in the eye and just tell them what YOU think, what YOU can offer, what YOU want the world to be . And when I say YOU, I mean you individually, you six, and you as the voice of 60, and you as the voice of millions.
Show them that YOUTH is TODAY and the FUTURE
I love you all like you are my kid brothers and sisters - John
