Participants have been selected for Africa Forum

The 80 participants for the Cape Town event have been selected. If you are not one of them, you can still have your say about the challenges Africa is facing. And about the issues the Changemakers should be addressing during the summit.

Blog about it here:

Congrats to all selected. So grateful for being part of this great opportunity to become an activist in the development of the continent and the world. An awareness of the need to volunteer in the development of our communities is greatly needed too so that youths know that they have a great part to play in their local communities, nation and the world. See you in Cape town

Congratulations to all attendees!  Here is a question for consideration in your travels:  How do public policymakers plan to keep up with the pace of global innovation?  How can we (humanity) adequately consider the potential for tremendous unintended consequences as much as our ability to focus on reaching remarkable goals.

Congratulations to all those sleceted. I hope to meet all of you in Cape Town next month. I also think it is important to think about the forum now and to start conversations on the website that can be continued at the forum.

Africa’s development is still lagging behind and after attending the WEF Africa last year I am not convinced that the African elite has a grasp on what needs to be done on the continet. I am however convinced that young people like ourselves are at the forefront of development and we need to participate in the discussions now.

The Global Changemakers meeting in June will give you the opportunity to speak with other African young people and to also develop plans of action for the development of younr community.

I look forward to seeing you all in Cape Town.

    Peace and Love

    Gillion

hi global changemakers! Benny here! im very xcited for being selected to attend the AYF, this is my first experience and i am looking 4wd to meeting all of you who have chosen and making international friends. take note; African is not a black continent but a bright one, it is beautiful. it is only our minds that are black and doomed, that is why there is need for revamping. AYF is one of the oppor2ntis to change our mindset and impression about our mother land, no one but us (the next generation) can address the issues affecting our continent. if africa was doomed, then it wudn,t have been sos of life 4 other continents.
we are part of a very blessed generation thus we need to stand up and defend our heritage.

One Africa! One Family! One Love!
    C U da!

    Hello Everybody;
I was just wondering that, it would be great if you guys who got selected for the Africa Forum and as well as those who have interest in the challenges faced by Africa, can all get together at FACEBOOK to discuss, as it would be easy and widely accessible.
We even have a group named ’ Global Changemakers ’ where you can start a ‘Discussion Topic’ on ‘Africa Youth Forum’ and discuss the related topics.

    All the Best !!
    smile
    P.S. here’s the link of the group :- http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=40031214771
