London invaded by Global Changemakers Alumni 2009 - GCM Peer Facilitators - Day 1

Today marked the start of the preparation for the Global Youth Summit, as 8 of us from the Global Changemakers Alumni (yet to be 9) gathered at the rather prestige 'Jerwood Space' in Central London, where we were greeted by the amazing John to begin our training as peer facilitators.
This afternoon we spent time getting to know one another, by playing a number of useful games and other similar fun activities, as well as exploring the role of a facilitator. The afternoon was rather fun and it was great seeing one another yet again, as well as meeting new faces from previous events, this evening we all enjoyed a lovely meal at Frankies and Bennies close to our accomodation.
Tomorrow the fun continues, with a vocal workshop and yet more skill building exercises, so stay tuned for another update from all nine of us at some point during the day!
