WEF Davos 2008
One of the Web 2.0 features of the upcoming WEF annual meeting in Davos is the Davos Conversation. This is what Matthias Luefkens, the WEF's Associate Director, Media writes about it:
At the Annual Meeting 2008 in Davos the World Economic Forum will again encourage an open and direct dialogue between the world leaders gathered in Davos and the general public through our Davos Conversation page: http://www.davosconversation.org, a bloggregator which combines text blogs, video, photo and news feeds from and around the Annual Meeting.
This year we will put the accent on video questions posted on a dedicated channel on the Forum's YouTube site at http://www.youtube.com/worldeconomicforum. With the support of YouTube we will put a single Davos question to the general public and to all the Davos participants in order to create a global dialogue. The project will go live on December 10 and we want your organization to participate in the conversation.
... We would like your organization to become a contributor to the Davos Conversation project. In order to raise the quality of the questions addressed to participants we kindly ask you to take part in the global conversation by answering the following question: "What key thing do you think that countries, companies or individuals should do to make the world a better place in 2008?" The best video responses will be shown in key sessions at the Annual Meeting in Davos.
We prefer video questions to be posted to http://www.youtube.com/davos but answers (in .wmv, .avi or .mpeg format) can also be emailed to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Sure! That is perfect. Now our organizations will be able to leave their positive messages and thoughts!
